Dermaplaning is a painless procedure. It is completely normal for your skin to experience dryness or a slight flakiness following the exfoliating effects of dermaplaning. The treatment is designed to enhance skin dryness by effectively removing dead skin cells. However, in the initial days, the exfoliation process may leave your face feeling tight and dry.

We discourage dermaplaning if you have active or cystic acne, thick or coarse facial hair, psoriasis or eczema in the treatment area.

Dermaplaning does not require any downtime. However, it is important to note that after the treatment, your skin may become more sensitive, potentially increasing the risk of breakouts. It is advisable to avoid direct sunlight and apply sunscreen in the days immediately following the treatment to safeguard your skin.
